Award

Once a "deal" has been struck, we will prepare the Final Proposal Revision letter and guide you to closing the deal so that you receive a Contract Award; that is, a contract number, an award date and confirmation of this on GSA e-Library.

At the conclusion of negotiations, the Contracting Officer will request a final proposal revision from the you and an agreement reached on the "Basis of Award" category of customer upon which the Price Reduction clause will be predicated.

We will prepare The Proposal Revision Letter which confirms the terms and conditions agreed upon between the Government and your authorized negotiator. At a minimum, the following information is required: acceptance or non-acceptance of the Government purchase card(s) for orders above the micropurchase threshold; "Basis of Award" class of customer on which the Price Reduction clause will be predicated; date negotiations were concluded; discount(s) including quantity discounts if offered; or net price(s) delivery terms and period economic price adjustment threshold; geographic coverage; industrial funding information and point of contact installation, maintenance, or training, etc. as offered (with items/models marked) upon which award is to be based; prompt pay discount, Special Item Number(s); subcontracting plan; ans information on warranty provisions.

Once the letter has been signed and delivered to your GSA Contract Officer, award is imminent. Soon you will have a contract number and an award date.

But the work doesn't end here--it is just the beginning. You now have your license to sell; but it is up to you as to how far you want to take your contract.
