GSA Schedule Contract Refreshment
On-going contract management is necessary to make your Schedule contract a good
sales tool. The extent of this activity is dependent on the types of products
and/or services that are on your Schedule. Some firms perform this function
in-house; others hire us.
The Schedule Contract itself requires that products and services offered the GSA be
kept current with your commercial products and services in the areas of price
reductions, product deletions and new products and services. And you should
want to add new products and services throughout the year to make the contract
more useful to government buyers. Again the extent of this activity is dependent
on the range of products and services that you offer to the Government through
the GSA Schedule.
Parallel to your company's growth and new product and service development our
contract administration services include:
- Maintaining contract changes on GSA Advantage!
- Working with your in-house sales team(s) to make sure that the product and service
offering on the Schedule reflects and supports your present sales objectives.
- Working on your behalf with your suppliers to support your selling efforts
under your Schedule. This includes such things as a reseller/VAR agreements,
product/service descriptions, mark-ups, and discounts.
- Providing and distributing guidelines and notifications to your authorized resellers
and representatives, if necessary, to assure compliance with the contract.
- Notifying the GSA of all commercial policy and pricing changes in order to insure
compliance with the contract terms.
