Schedule Teaming Arrangements
A Contractor Team Arrangement under the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Program is
an arrangement in which two or more Schedule contractors join together to provide
a total solution to meet an agency's needs. It permits contractors to complement
each other and allows them to compete for orders for which they may not qualify independently.
Orders placed under a Contractor Team Arrangement are subject to the terms and
conditions of each team member's Schedule contract.
A team arrangement allows you to propose to your customer a single solution
for varied requirements, allows you to build direct relationships with your
customers and complement your capabilities.
Under GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contractor Team Arrangements, each contractor has
privity of contract with the Government since each contractor holds a GSA Federal
Supply Schedule contract.
The difference between a prime/subcontractor arrangement and a teaming arrangement
under the Schedule can be summed up as: outside the GSA schedule: only the prime
contractor has privity of contract with the Government. In a GSA Contractor Team
Arrangement, any GSA Schedule contractor can serve as the team leader and/or interact
directly with the Government. In addition, in a GSA Contractor Team Arrangement, each
GSA Federal Supply Schedule contractor's services and products are already on contract
and the prices have been determined fair and reasonable. Total solutions can be put
together quickly and easily under GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contractor Team Arrangements.
